Politics in the Workplace

Speaker: Susan K. Lessack

Podcast Category: Employment

With the increased volume of political ads and news coverage of the upcoming election, so comes the volume and intensity of political conversations. The ever-widening ideological gulfs, dissected and fueled by pundits, have made politics seem more like a contact sport than ever. Because one's politics are often part of his or her personal identity, almost any political activity at work can become divisive or offensive to someone.

Susan Lessack, a partner with the Berwyn office of Pepper Hamilton LLP who concentrates her practice on labor and employment law, joins us in this podcast with suggestions about how employers can minimize these political distractions.

If you are interested in receiving the latest developments in the world of labor and employment, email podcasts@pepperlaw.com to subscribe to Pepper@Work. This is an electronic news alert that provides employers with advice on how recent labor judgments and opinions will affect their organization.
