Stephen represents owners, EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, general contractors, design professionals, and building product suppliers in disputes arising from a wide array of construction projects, including power plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, dams, and commercial buildings.
In addition to representing clients in state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution proceedings, Stephen assists clients with risk assessments, contract review and negotiation, and providing counsel on project management issues.
Stephen has been a contributing author on several articles for the firm's construction blog, constructlaw.com. He also was a contributing author of the American Bar Association's Construction Litigation Model Jury Instructions, and he published "The Securities and Exchange Commission's 2010 Proxy Access Proposals: A Poison Pill for Corporate Health" in the William & Mary Business Law Review.
