Solomon Hunter, Jr. is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group at Pepper Hamilton LLP. He is also a member of the Health Care Transactions Practice Group. Mr. Hunter is an experienced corporate and transactional lawyer with broad legal experience on health care matters.
Mr. Hunter counsels clients with respect to an array of strategic business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, start-up and venture capital financings, corporate carve-outs, financing transactions, and restructurings and reorganizations. During his more than 20 years of practicing, Mr. Hunter has managed a range of complex transactions for clients in a variety of industries, including human and pet foods, chemicals, cosmetics, life sciences, health care, equipment and financial services industries. He also counsels clients with respect to strategic corporate, commercial agreements and corporate governance matters.
Mr. Hunter also advises clients on raising capital through private and public securities offerings and businesses in connection with outsourcing, supply, purchasing and manufacturing and other commercial arrangements.
Before attending law school, Mr. Hunter held a variety of business positions with IBM Corporation.
