Nathan M. Iacovino is an associate in the Financial Services Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Philadelphia office. Mr. Iacovino focuses his practice on legal and regulatory matters relevant to asset-servicing entities (e.g., custodians, transfer agents, administrators, etc.). He has supported and developed solutions in connection with the structuring, negotiating and implementing of domestic and global custody, collateral and related servicing arrangements. He also represents mutual fund complexes, investment advisers and other financial institutions in connection with the negotiation and drafting of servicing arrangements and derivatives-trading documentation.
Mr. Iacovino advises financial institutions, asset managers and investment advisers on the development and maintenance of financial products and matters related to the impact of various regulatory regimes. Mr. Iacovino brings to each client representation a unique perspective on the financial services industry, given his prior legal, operations and risk management experience. He has advised private funds (hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of private funds); registered investment companies (mutual funds, closed-end funds, funds of funds); and investment advisers to funds and separately managed accounts. He also has worked extensively representing institutional investors in negotiating investments in private funds and venture capital investments in preferred stock financings.
