Jason J. Moreira is an associate in the Trial and Dispute Resolution Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Princeton Office. Mr. Moreira’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in state and federal court, including financial services litigation, construction litigation, restrictive covenant disputes, and appellate matters. He also has experience in a wide range of other subject matters, including insurance coverage litigation, environmental litigation, and internal investigations.

In addition to his general commercial litigation experience, Mr. Moreira has significant experience representing corporate policyholders in insurance recovery litigation. He has represented multinational consumer products companies, pharmaceutical companies, product manufacturers, information technology companies, and clients in other industries in insurance recovery litigation seeking recovery of losses under Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions, and Commercial General Liability policies.

Before joining Pepper, Mr. Moreira worked in the Insurance Recovery, Litigation & Counseling practice of McCarter & English LLP. Prior to that, he clerked for the Honorable Mitchel E. Ostrer, J.A.D., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.

Mr. Moreira graduated from Rutgers School of Law, where he was an editor for the Rutgers Law Review. His Note, Regionalism, Federalism, and the Paradox of Local Democracy, was published in 2015.
