Hedya Aryani is an associate in the Trial and Dispute Resolution Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Education Counseling, Litigation and Investigation Services Group. Ms. Aryani concentrates her practice on higher education law and counseling, commercial litigation and white collar and corporate investigations.
Ms. Aryani regularly counsels higher education clients on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, including Title IX of the amendments to the Higher Education Act, VAWA, Campus SaVE Act, Clery Act, FERPA, and the Drug Free Schools and Community Act. She also advises on matters relating to student conduct and developing and interpreting institutional policies and procedures.
Prior to joining the Commercial Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Aryani was an associate in the Health Effects Litigation Practice Group where she represented a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in state, federal and multidistrict litigation alleging products liability claims and violations of state consumer fraud and unfair trade practices laws.
