Emily D. Anderson is an associate in the Construction Law Practice Group with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the New York office.
Ms. Anderson has litigated a wide range of construction and real estate cases in the state and federal trial and appellate courts of New York. She has been involved in numerous matters relating to mechanic’s liens, prevailing wages, construction defects, delay damage claims and breach of contract issues.
Ms. Anderson also has experience drafting and negotiating various construction agreements, including agreements for construction management, design, consulting and building services, licenses, access and easements.
Prior to joining Pepper Hamilton, Ms. Anderson was an associate at Troutman Sanders LLP and Gallet Dreyer & Berkey, LLP, and interned with Justice Saliann Scarpulla of the New York State Supreme Court of New York County and the Legal Department of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Also, before attending law school, Ms. Anderson worked as a sales representative in the elevator industry.
