David M. Santangelo is of counsel in the Health Sciences Department of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the New York office. He concentrates his practice in the representation of biopharmaceutical and life sciences companies with a particular emphasis on product acquisitions and dispositions, the licensing of valuable intellectual property rights, strategic alliances and collaborations, including academic collaborations (aimed towards researching, developing and commercializing products, therapies or medical devices), technology transfers, clinical trial agreements, sponsored research agreements, authorized generics agreements, and various commercial undertakings, including the negotiation of distribution, supply, quality assurance, co-promotion, co-marketing and services arrangements.

In addition, Mr. Santangelo counsels public and private companies in the life sciences, energy, technology, telecommunications and consumer goods sectors on a broad range of corporate transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, spin-offs, tender offers and joint ventures. He has also represented public companies in connection with public offerings and private placements of debt securities, high net worth individuals and family offices in connection with various venture capital and early stage ventures and investments, and public companies on corporate and securities matters, including with respect to SEC filings, exchange listing requirements, corporate governance and compliance matters.

Prior to joining Pepper, Mr. Santangelo practiced with Chadbourne & Parke LLP.
