Courtney M. Goins is an associate in the firm's Health Sciences Department, resident in the Philadelphia office of Pepper Hamilton LLP. Ms. Goins focuses her practice on health care corporate and securities matters.
Ms. Goins represents health care clients on all aspects of merger, acquisition, affiliation, divestiture and various joint venture transactions. Ms. Goins is an experienced corporate attorney and counsels clients on company formation, corporate governance issues, securities matters, financings, reorganizations, dissolution and other legal and transactional matters.
Ms. Goins has advised on transactions for private equity portfolio companies and a variety of health care providers, including retail, specialty and long-term care pharmacies, long-term care organizations (including skilled nursing and assisted living facilities), group purchasing organizations, hospitals and hospital systems, physician practices, pharmaceutical manufacturers, acute and post-acute care providers, ambulance service companies and other health care clients.
In addition, Ms. Goins maintains an active pro bono practice and is currently the chair of the Homeless Advocacy Practice Group at the firm.
