Christine represents lenders, project owners and developers nationwide in financing multifamily and health care projects through programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Christine concentrates her practice in real estate and commercial project finance, specifically in the representation of lenders, owners and developers in connection with the acquisition, construction, substantial rehabilitation, and refinancing of affordable and market rate multifamily housing and health care facilities.
She leads the firm's efforts with respect to FHA's MAP and LEAN lending programs. She coordinates closings throughout the U.S. for lenders providing financing for multifamily housing projects and health care facilities pursuant to FHA insurance programs, including Sections 220, 221(d)(4), 223(a)(7), 223(f), 232, and 241(a) of the National Housing Act, with particular expertise in complex structures including those with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, taxable and tax-exempt bonds, secondary financing from state and local sources, bridge loans, Section 8 contracts, HOPE VI funds, 202 and 236 Use Agreements, and/or mezzanine financing.
Christine has closed several LEAN portfolios, and has extensive experience with A/R Financing and Master Leases in connection with FHA financing. In addition, she has assisted lenders in acquiring their FHA MAP and LEAN licenses, as well as Ginnie Mae Issuer approval, and provides guidance on post-closing servicing issues such as TPAs.
