Avi is an associate in the firm's White Collar + Government Investigations Practice Group, resident in the Philadelphia office. He represents and advises corporate and individual clients in connection with matters in both state and federal court. Avi focuses his practice on white collar, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and real estate litigation.
Additionally, Avi has represented clients in actions and investigations brought by the U.S. Attorney’s Offices. Avi has represented clients in a variety of industries, including cash advance funders, construction and automotive manufacturers, hospitals and medical providers, and real estate developers. Avi is also a member of the firm’s COVID-19 task force, and has advised nursing home clients and hospitals on matters involving PREP Act immunity.
He has experience at all stages of complex matters, including internal investigations, case evaluation and strategy, discovery, motion practice, witness development, trial preparation, arbitration, mediation, and appeals. Avi’s experience also includes proactive counseling regarding risk management, regulatory compliance, and sensitive transactions.
Avi also dedicates significant portions of his time to pro bono work. In this capacity, he represents clients in state court as part of the Federal Reentry Court Program for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Avi joined the firm as a summer associate in 2017. Before that, he served as an intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Trenton, NJ.
