Pepper Honored With M&A Advisor Turnaround Award
Pepper Hamilton LLP's Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Group has been selected as a winner for The M&A Advisor's 12th Annual Turnaround Awards. The awards will be presented at The M&A Advisor Awards Gala on March 21 at the Colony Hotel, Palm Beach, FL.
Pepper was recognized for its role in representing the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the sale of Central Iowa Healthcare's assets to Allen Health Systems, Inc. The matter, which was led by partners Deborah Kovsky-Apap and Francis J. Lawall, was chosen as the "Sec. 363 Sale of the Year ($10MM to $25MM)" for this year's Turnaround Awards.
"The award winners represent the best of the distressed investing and reorganization industry in 2017 and earned these honors by standing out in a group of very impressive candidates," said David Fergusson, co-CEO and president of The M&A Advisor, in a statement. "In an environment that is increasingly demanding of its professionals, we have recognized the leading transactions, firms and individuals that represent the highest levels of performance."
The nominations, encompassing more than 250 participating companies, were judged by an independent jury of industry experts.
