Developer Vartan Group Inc. announced that commissioners in Susquehanna Township, Pa. approved development plans for a 59-acre mixed-use development project. The project, to be called Susquehanna Union Green, will include single-family homes, a senior living complex, and commercial buildings, such as retail stores, office space, restaurants and a hotel. Approval by the board of commissioners allows Vartan Group to move forward with final plans for each of the project’s five phases. H. Ralph Vartan, CEO of Vartan Group, called the approval a major milestone for the project. Vartan seeks to break ground by the end of 2018.
