Pepper Hamilton Recognized in JD Supra 2018 Readers' Choice Awards

Pepper Hamilton has been named a “top firm” in the JD Supra 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards. The third annual awards acknowledge JD Supra contributors for achieving the highest visibility and engagement for their particular expertise during the year. Out of almost 50,000 authors, only 242 thought leaders were named as winners of the Readers’ Choice Awards.

Pepper was selected as the top firm in the construction category, which recognizes reader interest in construction-related matters, including subcontractors, construction defects, urban planning and development, public projects, OSHA and workplace safety, among others. More than 1,900 authors covered these topics in 2017, and top readers in the category included individuals from the construction, real estate, financial services, energy and telecommunications industries.

Pepper associate Kristopher Berr, who concentrates his practice in government contracts and construction, also was selected as one of the top 10 authors in the construction category. Mr. Berr had eight articles published on JD Supra in 2017.

Partners Joseph C. Guagliardo and Thomas P. Dwyer and associate Daniel R. Sieck were also recognized for their article “On the Grid: Blockchain May Create New Possibilities for Grid Enhancements and Energy IoT Applications,” which was one of the most-read articles on the topic of energy and the environment in 2017. Mr. Guagliardo is a repeat honoree of the JD Supra Readers’ Choice Awards, having been selected as the top author on the emerging topic of blockchain in 2017.
