Pepper Hamilton has been named a “Diversity in Action” honoree by Intercultural Family Services, Inc. The award will be presented at the organization’s 40th anniversary gala reception, held at Philadelphia’s Arts Ballroom on October 2.
IFSI is an independent nonprofit committed to serving the needs of children and families in the Greater Philadelphia area. Through its broad array of culturally competent, collaborative, family-centered programs, it empowers members of the community to meet the challenges of everyday life and to build a firm foundation for a bright future. Its offerings include behavioral health services for children and adolescents in need of therapeutic assistance, family-based mental health services, and functional family therapy, as well as several projects to address community basic needs.
Pepper Hamilton is one of five “Diversity in Action” honorees being honored at IFSI’s gala reception. Other honorees include Philadelphia Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell and Mia Mendoza of Philadelphia-based advertising company the Mendoza Group. Arthur C. Evans Jr., PhD, CEO of the American Psychological Association, will deliver keynote remarks.
