Pepper Hamilton Lawyers Named to 2018 Southern California Rising Stars
Three lawyers from Pepper Hamilton have been named by California Super Lawyers magazine as top attorneys in the state. Kevin Crisp, Raina L. Richter and Michelle Beth Rosenberg have been named to the Southern California Rising Stars list for 2018.
Mr. Crisp is an associate in the Trial and Dispute Resolution Practice Group, resident in the firm’s Orange County and Los Angeles offices. His practice encompasses commercial litigation and government investigations. In particular, he has represented clients involved in a range of finance related litigation, including corporate fiduciary duty, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy matters.
Ms. Richter is of counsel in the Construction Practice Group, resident in the Los Angeles office. She focuses her practice on construction law and the representation of construction companies and design professionals with regard to all types of disputes, including contract/delay, professional liability, fee disputes, construction defects and personal injury defense.
Ms. Rosenberg is an associate in the Construction Practice Group, resident in the Los Angeles office. She concentrates her practice on general liability, products liability, construction defect, trucking and transportation, and business litigation in state and federal courts.
Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in California are named to Super Lawyers and no more than 2.5 percent are named to Rising Stars. A statewide survey of lawyers who have been in practice for at least 5 years leads to the nomination of attorneys personally. Candidates are also added from searches by an attorney-led research staff. The selection process for Rising Stars is the same as the Super Lawyers selection process except that to be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less and candidates for Rising Stars do not go through peer evaluation by practice area.
