Pepper Hamilton Crypto Token Event Highlighted By Publishing Perspectives
The fintech team at Pepper Hamilton, along with Luxcore, Ltd. and RightsTech, will be hosting an event titled "So, a Crypto Token Is a Security…Now What?" on July 17, 2019 from 5:00–8:00 PM (ET) at Pepper Hamilton's New York office located at 620 Eighth Avenue - 37th Fl., New York, NY 10018-1405. The event was recently highlighted in the July 15, 2019 Publishing Perspectives article "Can Cryptocurrency Help Evolve Publishing’s IP as an Investment Asset?"
On Wednesday evening (July 17) in New York City, Paul Sweeting—familiar to Publishing Perspectives readers as the co-founding editor of the RightsTech project—will stage a “crypto-finance and intellectual property event” in cooperation with financial technology division of the law firm Pepper Hamilton at the New York Times building on Eighth Avenue.
In addition to Sweeting, presenters are to include:
- Keynote speaker Camila Rioja of São Paulo, who works in legal with Sthorm.io and is co-organizer of SP Legal Hackers
- Kirsten Sandberg, editor-in-chief with Blockchain Research Institute
- Michael K. Jones and Gregory J. Nowak, partners with Pepper Hamilton
The three-hour event, 5 to 8 p.m., is open to the public at no charge.
