John P. Falco, a partner in the Financial Services Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton, was quoted in the March 4, 2019 ACA Insight article, "SEC Modifies Form N-PORT Reporting to Address Cybersecurity Concerns."
"It makes sense," said Pepper Hamilton partner John Falco. "In addition to addressing data security concerns, the interim final Rule reduces the filing burden. Compiling, verifying and retaining the required information is quite burdensome. Giving funds 60 days after each quarter end to format the information and file rather than 30 days after each month eases the burden, and also cuts down the filings from 12 times a year to four times a year."
