NACUA Title IX Coordinator Training Online Course Webinar - Modules 4-6
Presented by NACUA
Title IX coordinators are responsible for overseeing the entire breadth of institution's Title IX compliance efforts. This includes gender discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, sexual assault, and athletics. These are significant responsibilities. To be effective, coordinators should be well versed in the procedures, policies, and training mechanisms in place for addressing campus sexual harassment, sexual violence, and equity in athletics. It is crucial that Title IX coordinators receive appropriate training to successfully handle the position's multiple responsibilities.
Amy C. Foerster, co-chair of the Higher Education Practice Group and a partner in the Trial and Dispute Resolution Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton, will be instructing an eight-module course designed specifically for campus Title IX coordinators and other administrators with Title IX responsibilities. She will be joining co-instructors Janet Judge, litigation partner at Holland & Knight, and Melinda Grier, former director of legal resources at NACUA. This informative and convenient course is a blend of self-study and instructor-facilitated learning. Participants can access materials 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To supplement the course's eight self-study modules, three webinars will provide an opportunity for Q&A with the instructors. The webinars will be held on the following dates and times:
Modules 1-3: November 25 from 1:00-2:30 PM (ET) | 10:00-11:30 AM (PT)
Modules 4-6: December 2 from 2:00-3:30 PM (ET) | 11:00 AM-12:30 PM (PT)
