Speaker: Gregory J. Nowak

5:00-7:00 PM (ET)
Investment Management and Private Funds: What's Happening Now?

Beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Join Gregory J. Nowak, a partner and practice leader for hedge funds in Pepper Hamilton’s Funds Services Practice Group, for a series of candid, interactive discussions on what is going on now in the investment management world, including issues that affect private funds and their managers.

In this month's roundtable, Mr. Nowak will be joined by Jon Anderson, who leads middle office outsourcing, valuation and market data management services as global head of middle office solutions for SS&C Technologies, and Paul Gallant, SS&C’s managing director of middle office solutions, who is responsible for the firm’s Middle Office Solutions offering. They will also be joined by Dominick Chiusano, global head of derivative operations at Invesco, who ensures that trade governance, capture, confirmation, life cycle, collateral management and reporting are operationally accurate, efficient and working as expected.

Together our panelists will discuss:

  • Optimizing post-trade process – settlements, trade reconciliations, valuations and controls, and collateral management
  • Achieving real time IBOR
  • Managing complex strategies - FX forwards, loans, structured products, and OTC derivatives
  • “Buy and Build” versus “Rent” decisions
  • Evolving regulatory compliance environment: Dodd-Frank and EMIR
