CPR Institute's Philadelphia 2019 Regional Meeting, 'Neutrality and Party-Appointed Arbitrators: An Oxymoron?'

Barbara T. Sicalides, a partner with Pepper Hamilton and head of the Antitrust Section of the firm’s Trial and Dispute Resolution Practice Group, will be speaking at the CPR Institute's Philadelphia 2019 Regional Meeting and Networking Event. This VIP networking event will feature former professional poker player, decision strategist and author Annie Duke, as well as prominent inside counsel, outside counsel, neutrals and academics discussing how clients, counsel and neutrals can better navigate decision-making and relationships to successfully resolve disputes. The program will take place at the Union League of Philadelphia and will be followed by a networking cocktail reception.

Ms. Sicalides will be joining the 2:05–3:00 PM panel titled, "Neutrality and Party-Appointed Arbitrators: An Oxymoron?" The panel will discuss whether party-appointed arbitrators can ever really be objective and whether the parties even want them to be.
