  • obtained favorable resolution of a 34-state AG investigation involving marketing practices by a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • obtained favorable resolution of a 38-state AG investigation of a major pharmaceutical company regarding manufacturing and recall issues for several products.
  • defended a pharmaceutical manufacturer in multiple individual state AG actions, including California, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Utah and West Virginia.
  • defended a pharmaceutical manufacturer against lawsuits brought in Native American tribal courts by tribal AGs.
  • obtained declination of prosecution or favorable settlement of multiple state AG actions involving alleged violations of state lending laws by banks, investment firms and nonbank lenders.
  • defended a major pharmaceutical company in a 38-state AG investigation regarding the promotion of the safety and efficacy profile of one of its leading products, resulting in multistate resolution.
  • obtained partial dismissal of consumer claims brought by the County of Santa Clara under California consumer protection law against a Fortune 500 client.
  • represented multiple clients in criminal AG investigations of municipal finance and consumer lending clients.
  • represented a financial institution in resolving inquiries by six state AGs related to a data breach.
  • defended national auto finance companies in a New Jersey AG investigation into lease termination procedures and compliance with state consumer protection law.
  • represented an accounting firm in a New Jersey AG investigation into its representation of financial institutions and its preparation of financial statements.
  • represented a national auto manufacturer in a nationwide data breach, including conferring with AGs of 47 states to address credit monitoring and identity theft insurance protections for affected consumers.
  • represented a leading private college in a New York AG investigation and litigation regarding the institutions compliance with its charter and state nonprofit corporation law.
  • obtained resolution of AG civil litigation alleging breach of fiduciary duty and waste by the board and president of a leading educational institution.
  • represented retailers in state AG investigations into alleged violations of consumer fraud statutes.
  • represented a pharmacy chain in state AG investigations into allegations of sales of expired products and disclosure of customer personal identifying information.
  • represented nursing homes in a Pennsylvania AG investigation into health care fraud allegations.
