  • defended monetary demand by U.S. Department of Commerce Inspector General against multi-national architect/engineering company to return funds paid for services performed in designing upgrade to over 100 buildings of the National Weather Service Program
  • represented state convention center authority in the drafting and negotiation all major and minor contracts for construction of a $250 million convention center, including architectural services agreement, construction management services agreement, construction contract and general conditions. Defended claims alleging differing site conditions and defects in electrical specifications.
  • negotiated on behalf of excavation subcontractor against prime contractor on a southeastern Pennsylvania bulk mail facility concerning compensation for changes in the work
  • represented prime contractor for construction of earthen dam for a city water project in presentation of claim for termination damages when project was cancelled after partial performance
  • represented manufacturer of pre-stressing systems for concrete in defense of claims for overruns by prime contractor for parking garage for major railroad station in Washington, D.C.
  • represented major municipality in drafting and negotiation of contracts for $30 million regional convention center in Wilmington, DE, including architectural services agreement with national architect in association with local architects and construction management agreements
  • represented regional general construction contractor for combined vehicle maintenance and educational facility in various disputes with Army Corps of Engineers in Aberdeen, MD, including claims for differing site conditions and delay
  • represented electrical prime contractor for municipal convention center in Washington, D.C.  in defense of delay/disruption claim by subcontractor for security systems
  • represented regional general construction contractor for combined vehicle maintenance and educational facility in Aberdeen, MD in action against defaulted masonry subcontractor to recover excess completion costs
  • represented general contractor and pool manufacturer for a state park construction project in a suit by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania filed in Commonwealth Court, perhaps the longest trial before the Commonwealth Court.
