Stefan Ellis is an associate with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Philadelphia office. Mr. Ellis is a member of the firm’s Health Sciences Department and focuses his practice on counseling and defending companies within FDA-regulated industries, including the manufacturers of pharmaceutical medications, food products and beverages.
Mr. Ellis has represented pharmaceutical companies against personal injury claims in federal multidistrict and state coordinated procedures and has additional related experience in connection with government investigations. Mr. Ellis has also applied his understanding of state and federal regulatory systems to support a range of corporate clients in the health, health care and life sciences industries, including pharmacies, home health care agencies and biopharmaceutical enterprises.
Mr. Ellis has litigated a variety of pro bono matters, including an appeal for social security benefits and a civil action for adverse possession. In connection with his pro bono advocacy, Mr. Ellis has represented clients before the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, the Philadelphia Municipal Court (Civil Division) and the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication of Review (ODAR).
