Michelle T. Huntsman is an associate in the Health Sciences Department of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Princeton office. She focuses her practice on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in product liability and consumer fraud litigation.
Ms. Huntsman also has experience in regulatory issues affecting health care mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, and she advises clients in the areas of federal and state fraud and abuse laws, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, false claims and civil monetary penalties, as well as licensing, operations and billing. She counsels clients regarding HIPAA privacy and security issues, such as developing business associate agreements, notices and compliance programs. Ms. Huntsman also has experience in white collar matters, and she has participated in internal investigations and represents clients facing federal and state investigations and prosecutions.
Ms. Huntsman is a member of the firm’s New Jersey Children’s Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Program, a pro bono effort to aid disabled children who have been denied SSI benefits.
