Michael D. Vives is an associate with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Washington office. Mr. Vives is a member of the Health Sciences Department and concentrates his practice on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in products liability litigation in state and federal court. Mr. Vives has experience in all phases of pretrial preparation including, preparing high-level company employees for deposition; evaluating and developing expert witnesses; drafting pleadings related to complex e-discovery issues; including predictive coding; and preparing dispositive motions, motions in limine, and written discovery and responses. In addition, Mr. Vives has experience assessing regulatory risk related to clinical trial processes, adverse event reporting, and reimbursement practices.
Mr. Vives has served as a member of the firm’s Summer Associate Committee.
Mr. Vives is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (he is not admitted in the District of Columbia). Mr. Vives is under supervision by principals of Pepper Hamilton LLP who are members of the D.C. bar.
