Mead Mišic is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Boston office.
Mr. Mišic concentrates on intellectual property, and specifically on patent litigation, patent prosecution and due diligence. Mr. Mišic generally assists with various aspects of patent litigation including infringement and validity strategies, claim construction, discovery and trial preparation in the areas of electronics, photonics, telecommunications, displays, networks, storage devices, mechanical and software. Given his engineering experience, Mr. Mišic's practice extends to the freedom to operate analysis, infringement and validity analysis in the same fields. Mr. Mišic has experience in patent infringement cases before the U.S. International Trade Commission, Japan Commercial Arbitration Association and various federal district courts.
Mr. Mišic's patent prosecution experience includes drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, and patent portfolio management in the fields of: network application delivery, network acceleration, connection management, server based computing environments, lighting, LEDs, optics, software applications, robotics, medical devices, micro-fluidics, and semiconductors.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Mišic worked as a technology specialist at Pepper providing technical and scientific advice to legal practitioners and assisting with various technical aspects of patent litigation. His prior engineering work experience includes research and development of the quantum dot light emitting devices (QDLEDs) and organic light emitting devices (OLEDs), testing of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and research of optical fiber manufacturing components.
