Marc represents clients in connection with many types of infrastructure projects, including cogeneration, solar energy, battery storage, and other renewable energy projects.
He regularly represents clients on transactions that require regulatory approvals or that have regulatory implications.
Marc's practice involves representing clients before many federal agencies, including, but not limited to, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission. He also represents clients before state agencies, including public utility commissions and other state agencies.
Marc frequently represents clients in connection with government investigations and enforcement actions. He also represents clients in rulemaking proceedings, permitting, and related appeals.
He has advised clients on numerous government investigations and has successfully negotiated with state and federal regulators; he has advised clients on a wide variety of consent orders and settlement agreements.
Marc is active in many professional organizations, including the Energy Bar Association, the ABA Section of Public Utility Law, the Federal Communications Bar Association, the ABA Section of Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law, and the Association for Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy.
