Lydia M. Furst is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Philadelphia office. Ms. Furst concentrates her practice on international and domestic arbitration, complex contract litigation and corporate investigations.
In her arbitration practice, Ms. Furst has been involved in complex proceedings before the AAA, LCIA, LCIA-India, and ICC, as well as ad hoc arbitration panels. Ms. Furst is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s International Law Committee, and serves as liaison between the International Law Committee and the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Ms. Furst also has an active pro bono practice. Examples of Ms. Furst’s pro bono practice include successful representation of a Philadelphia home owner against a private lender, representations of death row inmates in habeas corpus and appellate proceedings, and a representation with Philadelphia’s Homeless Advocacy Project.
