Kenneth J. King is a partner in the Health Sciences Department of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the New York office. He has over 30 years of experience defending business clients in complex litigation in the areas of product liability commercial and intellectual property litigation.
On product liability matters, Mr. King has handled matters related to the defense of cases involving glitazone and incretin diabetic medicines as well as atypical antipsychotics. He has also been trial counsel in a product liability case involving a leading cancer chemotherapy product and has handled cases involving insulin, a leading antibiotic, silicone breast implants, the synthetic estrogen, diethylstilbestrol, and a drug in clinical trial. For many years, Mr. King served as national counsel and lead trial counsel for a Fortune 500 company defending product liability claims brought by users of its computer keyboards. In that context, Mr. King developed considerable experience with legal issues involving orthopedics and the etiologies of upper extremity disorders.
