Karen J. Aloia is a senior paralegal in the Philadelphia office of Pepper Hamilton LLP and a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group.
Ms. Aloia is an estates and trusts paralegal working in the area of estate and trust administration including probate and trust administration, preparation of federal and state estate, inheritance and gift tax returns, fiduciary accounting and preparation of federal and state fiduciary income tax returns. Ms. Aloia has been a paralegal for over 30 years and also has experience in the areas of corporate formation and transactional real estate matters, including leasing and financing. She devotes time to pro bono matters and has worked with Philadelphia VIP on a mortgage foreclosure diversion program since its inception in 2008.
Ms. Aloia is an active member of the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals. She is a former board member and treasurer of the Association and was the recipient of the Association’s 2013 Pro Bono Award.
