Jeffrey Pedersen is an associate in the Government Contracts Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Washington office. Mr. Pedersen is a former defense industry engineer with degrees in aerospace engineering.

Mr. Pedersen represents and counsels clients that sell services and products to federal, state and local governments in a range of industries. He has assisted clients in addressing issues pertaining to internal controls, labor and employment, domestic preferences, schedule contracting, mergers and other transactions, small and socioeconomic business programs, cyber and information security, and intellectual property rights. In addition to counseling, he has litigated bid protests at the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Court of Federal Claims (COFC), and various federal agencies, and has represented contractors in size protests before the Small Business Administration Regional Offices and the Office of Hearings and Appeals (SBA OHA).

Prior to and during law school, Mr. Pedersen worked as an aerospace and systems engineer at two major defense contractors with a focus on propulsion systems for missile, launch vehicle and satellite applications.
