Jaclyn K. Ruocco is an associate with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Princeton and New York offices. Ms. Ruocco concentrates her practice in commercial litigation.
Ms. Ruocco began her career in New Jersey politics, where she quickly rose as one of the leading statewide political fundraisers. She was the Finance Director of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee from June 2002 until May 2005. As such, Ms. Ruocco was a member of the Executive Committee of the party and worked in coordination with statewide and national democratic elected officials in raising over $15 million during her tenure there. In 2005, she switched gears and ran the operations of the gubernatorial campaign, where she worked with party leaders in providing logistical and financial support for statewide democratic candidates. During law school, Ms. Ruocco was Governor and Senate President Richard J. Codey’s fundraiser for both his candidate committee and the Senate Democratic Majority PAC. During this time, she was invited to speak on campaign finance at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, Rutgers University.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Ruocco joined the team that led Jon Corzine’s gubernatorial Get-Out-the-Vote efforts through election day. She joined Pepper in 2010.
