Ellen K. Scott is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Pepper Hamilton LLP and a member of the firm’s Health Effects Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Scott concentrates her practice in the defense of complex mass tort, product liability and radiation-related litigation. She also has defended personal injury actions arising from alleged exposures to toxic substances at hazardous waste sites, Superfund litigation and cost recovery actions for environmental remediation.
Ms. Scott has written chapters in texts on the use of epidemiological evidence in the courtroom and the relevance of phenotypic variation to risk assessments. In addition, she has taught continuing legal education courses on the use and exclusion of expert evidence.
