Christen Tuttle is an associate in the White Collar Litigation and Investigations Practice Group with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Philadelphia office. Ms. Tuttle focuses her practice on white collar defense and investigation.
Ms. Tuttle represents businesses, educational institutions, government entities, health care providers, and individuals in matters involving internal investigations and investigations by state and federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies. Recently, Ms. Tuttle acted as counsel for the court-appointed Special Master in the multidistrict litigation following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, investigating and obtaining restitution for fraudulent claims submitted to the court-supervised settlement program.
Before joining Pepper, Ms. Tuttle was an assistant district attorney for the District Attorney’s Office of Philadelphia from 2007 to 2012. Ms. Tuttle prosecuted violent crime, sexual assault, child abuse, narcotics, and firearms offenses, conducting jury and bench trials before the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia Juvenile Court, and Philadelphia Municipal Court.
