Andrea G. Schwartz is an attorney at Pepper Hamilton LLP, where she handles professional responsibility and ethics-related matters, and serves as a resource to the firm’s Professional Responsibility Committee. Ms. Schwartz is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Professional Guidance Committee which provides informal and formal opinions to Philadelphia attorneys on a variety of ethics issues.
Prior to joining Pepper, Ms. Schwartz was conflicts and compliance counsel in the office of the general counsel at Duane Morris LLP, where her work focused on legal ethics compliance, identifying and resolving conflicts of interest, and ensuring adherence to firm policies and the rules of professional conduct. Additionally, Ms. Schwartz worked as an attorney in the litigation department of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP where she handled all aspects of commercial litigation. Ms. Schwartz previously served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Samuel D. Natal, J.S.C, in the New Jersey Superior Court. Her commitment to pro bono service has included acting as a volunteer attorney for the Homeless Advocacy Project.
