Amy G. McAndrew is of counsel with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the firm’s Berwyn office. Ms. McAndrew’s practice includes a variety of labor and employment issues, and she concentrates in representing management in labor and employment-related claims before state and federal administrative agencies and courts and at arbitration. She also counsels employers on employment policies and practices, including Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage and hour issues, conducts management and staff training on issues such as union avoidance, litigation avoidance and harassment prevention.
Ms. McAndrew speaks frequently on labor and employment law topics, including litigation avoidance and union avoidance. She recently was a co-presenter of a webinar entitled, “Preparing for the ADAAA: Creative Solutions to the New Wave of Disability Discrimination Claims.” In addition, she has been co-presenter for Lorman Educational Services at a seminar entitled “Employee Discharge and Documentation” and recently presented a program entitled “Legal Ramifications of Newer Workplace Issues and Policies” for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce. She has been quoted in a variety of publications, including USA Today, and has appeared on the cable news show Art Fennell Reports.
