Charles S. Marion of Pepper Hamilton LLP, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Germantown Branch of Settlement Music School.
Settlement Music School is the largest community school of the arts in the United States and a founding member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education. With a faculty of more than 225 professionals, Settlement provides lessons and classes in music and the related arts to 15,000 students each year, regardless of age, race, artistic ability or financial means at six branches in PA and NJ. Among its many programs is the nationally recognized, award winning Kaleidoscope Preschool, that prepares Head Start qualified children for kindergarten using an arts-integrated school-readiness curriculum. Settlement Music School awards more than $2 million annually in scholarships and financial aid.
Mr. Marion is a partner with Pepper Hamilton, resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office. He practices in the areas of business litigation, intellectual property litigation, franchise litigation and product liability.
Mr. Marion is a fellow of the Academy of Advocacy of Temple University and founder and president of the 2T Group, a business networking group in Philadelphia. Mr. Marion is a former board member and president of Delaware Valley Habitat for Humanity, and also served on the board of the Foundation of the Rotary Club of Chestnut Hill.
