Leigh Poltrock, of counsel in the Affordable Housing and Community Development Practice Group in Pepper’s Pittsburgh office, was honored by the Pennsylvania Diversity Council as one of 2014's Pittsburgh Most Powerful & Influential Women. The awards ceremony took place at the Pittsburgh Leadership Conference, held Oct. 29 at the University of Pittsburgh.
The Pennsylvania Diversity Council (PADC) is committed to fostering a learning environment for organizations to grow and leverage their knowledge of diversity. Nominees for the Most Powerful and Influential Women Awards must meet the following criteria: provide leadership excellence in the public and/or private sectors; sustain a record of accomplishments and/or contributions to field of work throughout scope of her career; have clout within her organization in terms of significant impact on revenues, profitability, and/or direction of the organization; demonstrate leadership and commitment to community well-being and/or high visibility in the community; and exhibit and demonstrate a commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional excellence.
Ms. Poltrock concentrates her practice on multifamily affordable housing development, and the administrative, regulatory, litigation and general corporate matters that arise in connection with those projects.
