Henry Liu Quoted in Washington Business Journal Article, 'D.C. Law Firms Head West in Their Hunt for Trophy Space'
Henry Liu, the partner in charge of Pepper Hamilton’s Washington, D.C. office, was quoted in the April 20, 2018 Washington Business Journal article, " D.C. Law Firms Head West in Their Hunt for Trophy Space." The article discusses the increasing number of downtown Washington, D.C. law firms moving to the western side of town, including Pepper's recently signed lease for the firm's new Washington, D.C. office.
Pepper Hamilton's new home at 2000 K St. is indeed smaller than its current locale, but it aimed to be closer to clients and offer a tighter, more collaborative office environment, said Henry Liu, partner-in-charge of the D.C. office. "The footprint is ideal for us because it's almost like a perfect square," he said, adding that the firm can now cut down on filing and library space. "The space is very efficient, so it's allowed us to get the right practice groups together. It's just a very easy, clean, efficient space. ... Right now, we have groups where people are at completely different ends of the office."
