Gregory S. Bishop Named to 2017 Northern California Super Lawyers List

Pepper Hamilton LLP announced that Gregory S. Bishop has been named to the Northern California Super Lawyers list for 2017. He concentrates his practice on patent infringement cases involving high technology areas such as microprocessors, semiconductors, software, digital signal processing and networking technology. He is experienced in cases brought before the federal district court, the International Trade Commission and post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Bishop received his J.D. from Brigham Young University in 1996, an M.S. in 1989 from Syracuse University in computer engineering, and a B.S. in 1987 from Brigham Young University in electrical engineering.

Selection Process for Super Lawyers

A statewide survey of lawyers who have been in practice for at least 5 years leads to the nomination of the best attorneys they have personally observed in action. Candidates are also added from searches by an attorney-led research staff for those who have attained certain honors or achievements. A research department examines the background and experience of each candidate. Point totals are calculated from the balloting and qualitative evaluation steps. Candidates are grouped according to primary area of practice. Members of a blue ribbon panel, selected from those with high point totals, review a list of candidates from their practice area. Final candidates are those with the highest point totals from each category. See www.SuperLawyers.com for more detail.
