Charles S. Marion Named an Outstanding Subcommittee Chair for ABA's Intellectual Property Litigation Committee

Pepper partner Charles S. Marion has been honored by the American Bar Association (ABA) as one of several Outstanding Subcommittee Chairs for his work as chair of the ABA’s Regional CLE Subcommittee of the Intellectual Property Litigation Committee.

The ABA Section of Litigation lauded Mr. Marion for his 2012-13 Bar Year leadership during an April 25 plenary session during the section’s Annual Conference in Chicago, IL. The co-chairs of that committee nominated him for the honor based on his work on behalf of the section during his leadership year. Among his work, three years ago Mr. Marion was one of three attorneys who volunteered to study the feasibility of and subsequently plan and present regional CLE workshops throughout the United States on intellectual property litigation topics. This year, Mr. Marion is planning his subcommittee’s third annual workshop, “Tips from the Masters – IP Trial Strategies,” which will be held on June 7, 2013 in New York City.

Mr. Marion is a commercial litigator and focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, franchise litigation, securities litigation and product liability.
