Pepper Hamilton Hosts December Peer-to-Peer Lending MeetUp in New York

Speakers: Gregory J. Nowak and Brian S. Korn

In the past year, peer-to-peer lending and crowdfunding have experienced an explosion of interest. Pepper Hamilton proudly hosts the December Peer-to-Peer MeetUp. The peer-to-peer MeetUps features leading speakers and industry participants. The December event will examine peer-to-peer lending from a legal and regulatory perspective, including:

  • what are the risks involved in peer-to-peer?
  • what should you know before attempting to invest in peer-to-peer loans and platforms?
  • what is the future of peer-to-peer lending regulation?
  • what impact has peer-to-peer lending had on traditional funds and asset managers?
  • where does peer-to-peer fit on the crowdfunding spectrum?

All these plus attendee questions will be addressed in an hour-long presentation led by Brian Korn and Gregory J. Nowak.
