Arbitration is not litigation. The rules and strategy involved in litigating a case are not the same for arbitration. And the rules for arbitration are evolving. How do you keep up with the changes and determine if arbitration is right for your company, and how do you prevail if you are involved in an arbitration?
Pepper Hamilton partner Matthew H. Adler chairs the firm's International and Domestic Arbitration Practice Group and is also a lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Adler recently authored a new textbook on arbitration with the help of some Pepper associates, including Krysten L. Connon and Ryan E. Peters.
Mr. Adler was recently interviewed by the Wall Street Journal for their "Kaepernick’s Case to Break New Ground" article to discuss the arbitration angles of the situation.
Mr. Adler's book was published this fall, and we invite you to a special panel discussion with Mr. Adler and Mr. Peters, moderated by Jeremy Heep, Pepper partner and co-chair of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. They will discuss the latest developments in domestic and international arbitration, including the ongoing legislative, judicial and administrative branch war over class action in arbitration clauses, and how these ongoing changes can affect your business.
