Investment Management and Private Funds: What's Happening Now?

Beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Join your host, Pepper Hamilton partner Gregory J. Nowak, for a thought-provoking, candid and informative discussion on issues affecting funds and investment managers.

This month, Mr. Nowak will be joined by Pepper attorney David Stauber and RSM partner Marcia Rennie for a tax level audit/representative provisions update, where they will address the following topics:

  • What are the entity level audit and representative provisions?
  • How do they differ from the tax matters partner rules, and when are they effective?
  • What modifications need to be completed? By when?
  • What are people doing? Carrying back or addressing currently?
  • Do hedge funds and PE funds take different approaches since PE funds tend to have stable investors bases while hedge funds will have turnover?

If you've attended previous Pepper events, make sure to spread the word to your colleagues. We encourage you to bring a friend from the industry!
