Pepper partner Henry C. Fader will be presenting for the American College of Surgeons 98th Annual Clinical Congress being held from September 30 to October 4 in Chicago, IL. The congress will initiate its celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the founding of the American College of Surgeons and will promote high quality educational programs designed to educate surgeons and directly improve the health and safety of surgical patients.
On October 1, Mr. Fader will be speaking on the panel titled, "Why Surgeons Need to Understand Social Networking." Social networking sites have been increasingly adopted by many online health-related professional and educational services. This session will cover how surgeons can use social networking, and the potential uses and abuses of such sites. Topics include: why surgeons need to understand social networking and social media; the ABCs of safe surgical social networking; using social networking for graduate medical education, continuing medical education, and patient care; legal dos and don'ts; and how social networking can make better surgeons.
