"Pepper also expects its associates to contribute to the overall well-being of the firm and its people. For instance, the Summer Associates Committee is made up of all associates who run the summer program, serve as mentors to summer associates, solicit and administer assignments, and organize practice-related and social events. Associates also are given opportunities to conduct training sessions and in-house workshops and serve as mentors to new associates. Additionally, the firm has an Associate Liaison Committee (ALC), which creates an open and on-going dialogue between the associates and management.
