Competitive Salary
The starting salary for associates in the Philadelphia, Berwyn, Pittsburgh, Princeton, Washington, D.C., and Wilmington offices is $145,000.
The starting salary for associates in Detroit and Harrisburg is $125,000.
Salaries are generally adjusted each January.
Pepper currently has two bonus programs for associates, a guaranteed hours bonus and a discretionary bonus based on performance. Associates with 2,000 qualifying hours will receive a bonus of $10,000; associates with 2,100 qualifying hours will receive $5,000 additional, for a total bonus of $15,000; and associates with 2,200 qualifying hours will receive $5,000 additional, for a total bonus of $20,000. “Qualifying” includes billable, pro bono and such project and other hours as are specifically approved by the Associates Committee, such as legal work for the firm and approved marketing and recruiting time. In addition, outstanding contributions to the firm under the traditional criteria of quality, effort and collegiality are rewarded with the discretionary bonus program.

Emergency Child Care Center (Philadelphia only)
Should your regular child care provider be unavailable, we've contracted with a facility near our offices to provide care at very reasonable rates.
