The Washington office, located in a beautifully restored building downtown, in 2004 marked 35 years of representing clients’ interests in the nation’s capital. Originally established to support the firm’s federal tax practice, the principal areas of practice in the Washington office now include antitrust/trade regulation, banking and financial services (including consumer financial services), commercial litigation, corporate and securities transactions, employment litigation, energy, environmental law, financial services, government contracts, health care, housing and community development, intellectual property transactions and IP litigation, international trade, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, project finance, real estate finance and regulation, SBIC work, securities enforcement and regulation, securities and shareholder litigation, tax, transportation, venture capital and venture fund formation. The office also is experienced in assisting businesses in the life sciences and technology sectors.
