J. Anthony Lovensheimer
J. Anthony Lovensheimer is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Philadelphia office. Mr. Lovensheimer concentrates his litigation practice on intellectual property litigation involving trademarks, copyrights and patents, including related e-commerce, domain name, trade secret, unfair competition and commercial litigation.
Mr. Lovensheimer also counsels clients on the availability and adoption of trademarks and the management and enforcement of domestic and international trademark portfolios, including representing clients in proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, he advises clients on internet and domain name disputes, intellectual property due diligence and intellectual property transactions, including trademark, copyright and technology license agreements, consultant contracts, non-disclosure agreements and technology service agreements.
Prior to joining Pepper, Mr. Lovensheimer was an associate with Day Pitney LLP in New York City, where he worked extensively on trademark and copyright litigation, trademark licensing, and domestic and international trademark prosecution for clients in a variety of industries, including fashion, travel and hospitality, consumer electronics, media and publishing, technology, financial services and pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Lovensheimer is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the New York State Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section.
